WELCOME TO 2nd GRADE!!
My name is Jennifer Welch and I will
be your child's teacher this year. I am very excited to be part of
the Brookside community and look forward to wonderful new
beginnings.
My teaching experience began in 1999
at Echo Lake Elementary. I taught Special Education for the last 6
months of the school year. I then began teaching English Language
Learners (ESL/ELL). I taught one year at Sunset Elementary and for
the past six, at North City Elementary. With the closing of North
City this past spring, I'm very excited to be teaching in the
general classroom and in my "dream grade."
Professionally, I am back in school at City University of Seattle.
I am currently enrolled in a M.Ed. program in Educational
Leadership.
Personally, I have two children, 9 and 6. They will be attending
Ridgecrest Elementary this year. When I'm not at work, I enjoy
spending time with friends and family.
