Mrs. Blaylock
It has been my privilege
to teach at Echo Lake Elementary since 1982! This school and
community mean so much to me and have been a big part of my
life. Most of my years here have been spent teaching second
grade, and for fourteen years, I job-shared with Mrs.
Alloway. This is my third year teaching third grade, and I
wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!
Respect and
responsibility rule in Room 7! We follow Ms. Frizzle’s
motto: “Take chances! Make mistakes!
Learn!” We support and help each other as
we learn together.
I grew up in southern
California and graduated from California Polytechnic University in San
Luis Obispo. After moving to the northwest, I completed my 5th year at
the University of Washington and then completed post-graduate work
at Seattle Pacific University. I enjoy time spent with my family and my
two cats. I love being at the beach, playing
tennis, walking,
and most of all, reading.
