REMINDER-NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 26th: Staff Work Day

 

Tigers, please remember to sign up for Hang Time.  Hang Time is the program that keeps our existing clubs and sporting events organized, supervised, and fun.  Starting on September 20th, you will need to be a member of Hang Time in order to attend a club or an after school sporting event.  You can find the forms to sign up on the Einstein web page, OR in the main office. See you there.

 

Hey all Einstein Tigers….Come out and support your Tigers football team at their first home game, next Wednesday the 28th against College Place.  They need YOU to cheer them on!  Go Tigers!!

 

YEARBOOK CLUB: If you are interested in photography, computer graphics & design and/ or want to help capture the best moments and memories of 2016/17 for inclusion in the Einstein yearbook,  we want you to become one of our yearbook STAFF by joining yearbook club!  

 

Yearbook Club meetings will take place every Tuesday in the Art Room/(G-2 ) See our yearbook advisor, Mrs. Baldi with questions.  Be sure to join Hang time and check in before each meeting.

 

REFLECTIONS: Reflections is a PTSA sponsored cultural arts program. All students are invited to participate. Students can express themselves artistically in any of these categories: visual arts, literature, musical composition, photography, film production, and dance choreography. All artwork must be new and original and should reflect the theme “What’s Your Story.” Finished art submissions and entry forms must be returned to the main office by October 21st. Want to submit your creation? Pick up an entry form in the main office. 

 

COMMUNITY MOVIE: Come see the award-winning film Most Likely to Succeed on Sunday, September 25th at 3:00 pm. The movie will be shown at the Shoreline Center Auditorium.  Admission is $5 per person, middle and high school students free. A panel of Shoreline educators will follow the 90-minute movie.  For more info, see MLTSFILM.org.

 

SEPTEMBER IS ATTENDANCE AWARENESS MONTH! DID YOU KNOW: Starting in kindergarten, too many absences (excused and unexcused) can cause children to fall behind in school.

 

FREE STUDENT FAIR TICKETS: The Washington State Fair runs though September 25th. We still have plenty of free student tickets available in the main office.  Check out thefair.com for more information!
