NEXT WEEK: Reminder that next week will be all 6 period days due to the Veteran’s Day Holiday.

CITY OF SHORELINE: Come on Mondays at lunch in November  to play volleyball. Join us for a game, or learn how to serve, set and spike!  Come and say Hi! to Waldo.

EINSTEIN AFTERSCHOOL: Join us after school on Monday, November 9  for a special 3 week cooking club (Nov. 9, 16 and 23) We will make quesadilla’s and pico de gallo.  Meet in the SAC.

ALL ARE WELCOME: What Families Can Do: Teens and Substance Abuse at Shoreline Center on Tuesday, November 10 from 6:30-8:00 pm. Dinner and presentation by Kevin Haggerty and Question and Answer session with Chemical Dependency professionals.

VETERAN’S DAY SKATE: Wednesday, November 11, Highland Ice Arena is offering a free skate to students from 9:30-5:30.  Bring your own skates or rent for $3.  18005 Aurora Avenue North. (next to Fred Meyer)

YEARBOOK MEETING: First yearbook meeting of the year will be in D-8 (Ms. Crossland) on Monday, November 9 at 3:10. We will be making posters to advertise yearbook sales.

LEADERSHIP MEETING: Join us in A-4 (Mr. McDowell) on Monday, November 9 at 7:45 a.m. to discuss our upcoming Food Drive and our response to the student survey.

FALL FEST DANCE:  TODAY AFTER SCHOOL..Be sure to get your tickets at lunch or immediately after school.  $4 w/ASB and $5 without.  Extra $$ for snacks.

HEY THERE EINSTEIN TIGERS! Have you heard about the new student newspaper, the Tiger Chronicles? The first issue will be released soon concerning the daily life at Einstein.  We need your help!  Please submit student work and serious questions for an advice column.  Please drop class work in Ms. Heller’s drop folder with your name on the work.  Advice column questions will be anonymous and please include your gender with your question.  Put advice questions in the drop box in the library.
