Social Studies 8th
8th Grade Honors Social Studies is a full year course in which
students examine and study the history of the United States from
the Revolutionary War and building government to the turn of the
20th century. We’ll also be exploring themes of who we
are as Americans, forms of government, current events, tolerance
and social justice. Honors Social Studies will often move at
a faster pace than standard, go deeper, and require more outside
reading, while covering the same required content.
Language Arts 7th
English is a full year course designed to further student’s
reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in alignment with
state standards.
