I am looking forward to an exciting year of discovery, exploration and growth for your child. I feel strongly about the partnership and responsibilities we share in helping your child have a happy, fun and exciting year of accomplishments. I look forward to getting to know you and your child.

I have been teaching since 1989. I began my teaching career working for the Pacific Science Center where I traveled all over the state of Washington teaching science in Kindergarten through 6th grades. I subsequently worked as a Science Specialist for four years at the Bush School in grades K-5. After taking a year off to travel around the world with my husband I taught third grade at Bush School for three years.

In 1998 I became a parent and decided to stop teaching in order to stay home with my daughter. In 2004 I returned to teaching with a part-time sixth grade position at Highland Terrace. This is my fourth year at Highland Terrace as a half day Kindergarten teacher.

My interests include: Mt. biking, running, skiing, kayaking, bird watching, gardening, learning to play the guitar, baking, cooking and reading. I enjoy spending time with my family cooking up new trips and travels.
