Homework is assigned on Tuesdays, and is due the following
Tuesdays. Exceptions are Math, and long term projects such as
Book Reports.
ALWAYS READ 120 MInutes Minimum each week. This may include
being read to, or listening to audio books, as long as you are
reading the book as you listen. It also includes reading to a
younger sibling. Your parents can sign your planner each week to
show that you have done your reading, or they can write a few words
about what you've read, if they have the time.
From November 17th to
24th
Mt. Math 10 # 1-5 due on 24th
Remember to check out Spelling City.com. This week you will
be working with Spelling List 10.
For LIst #10 you are asked to look
over your trimester goals and write an essay explaining how you are
doing on these goals. . An example of a well written essay is found
in the documents tab. Don't worry too much about
using spelling words, as this is more of an writing assignment.
KID BIZ 2 ARTICLES A WEEK - You must do the activity at the
end of the article. If you do not do the questions, you will not
get credit for the reading.
The November book report CAN BE FOUND UNDER THE
DOCUMENTS TAB.You are to read either a Young Reader's Choice or
Sasquatch book nominee from this year, or past years, and take
notes on this book's main character as you read. We will be learing
to do a Keynote based on this project.
Also, for the month of November, I will be giving
you the outline of an "Expert Study" to begin. It will include all
of the details and due dates on it. The Expert Study information will go home the
week of the 23rd of November. The project won't culminate
until January 25th, 2010!
