CARVANS CELEBRATORY FEAST

•    We will be celebrating the end of our Caravans unit with an International Feast next Tuesday. Students are invited to bring a dish to share with the class that is unique to their heritage, family, or tradition.  Or, if preferred, students can try a recipe for a dish from a country they studied during our Caravans unit.
•    As you pick a dish to share, please keep in mind we have a nut allergy in our classroom. Thank you!

UPCOMING DUE DATES!

•    The Caravans Travel Brochure is due Monday, November 23rd. We’ve had lots of time in class to work on this and I’m hoping you’ve seen it as part of your child’s homework as well.
•    Genre Book Project #3 – due Friday, December 4th. This deadline is coming up quickly!!  Students should be well into reading this book at this point.

CAMP ORKILA PAYMENT INFO

•    Please be sure to return your camp payment information by this Friday, November 20th. Information went home in last week’s Boomerang (gold paper) about camp payment options, along with a scholarship request form.
