Can You Help?
We need parent volunteers for Field Day, June 5th? BE SURE TO BRING A WATER BOTTLE! NEWBERY PROJECTS • Our next deadline for Newbery projects is next Friday, June 5th Look in your child’s Reading folder for the “Newbery Independent Reading” page with all the expectations OR download from Ms. K’s class website. NO PROJECTS = NO FIELD DAY!!! Clothing Guidelines from the Meridian Park Handbook • Students
are to wear clothing that is appropriate for the school setting and
will not disrupt or interfere with the learning environment.
Final determination will be made at the discretion of the
principal. The following are not allowed at school:
1. bare midriff tops or spaghetti straps 2. inappropriate wording or logos on clothing 3. sagging pants 4. large rips or tears in clothing, or holes above the knee in pants 5. gang related clothing (bandanas, doo rags, etc.) 6. short shorts, (shorts should be walking-short or skirt length; they should not be above the fingertips with arms at your side) In addition, spandex or spandex type pants or tops are not appropriate for school.
