Welcome to Sixth Grade.......
Sixth grade is an exciting year for your child, a year often filled
with mixed emotions. . It is their last year in elementary
school and for many students the thought of leaving the safe
familiar environment of Parkwood creates a lot of anxiety.
However, they know that new exciting adventures await them in
7th grade, consequently they experience an emotional tug of war -
hate to leave here but can’t wait to be there. Please
continue to remind them that before they leave Parkwood they have a
lot of work to do. I look forward to meeting your students and you
in September.
