Third Grade
Rocks!
Welcome To Our
Classroom
Hi, everybody! We are having a fabulous time in class because
3rd grade rocks! We have read "Everybody Needs A Rock" that
inspired us to collect our own rocks. In Science we have
observed and taken apart our "mock" rocks and are currently
analyzing their structure. We also read "The Caveman of
Lascaux" and took a look at the Stone Age caves of Lascaux,
France. Then we drew our own cave drawings of a variety of
animals and people.
In math we are studying double digit addition,
two-step story problems, tally tables, and combinations of coins
and their totals. We have already looked at bar graphs and
picture graphs, reoccuring patterns and we are continuing to review
our math facts.
