Welcome to
Room 4's web site. We are off to a Great Year in Room
4! We have a classroom full of wonderful children and
families!
We have enjoyed two great field trips so far this school
year. The first one was to "The Kruckeberg Botanic Gardens"
in Richmond Beach where we learned how seeds are spread, went on a
seed hunt and created two beautiful art projects there. If we
are lucky, we will revisit the gardens in the Spring of 2010.
The second field trip was to "The Farm" in Snohomish, WA to visit
the pumpkin patch. We had a great time there. We did
lots of cool stuff such as -- Rode a tractor-trailer to the pumpkin
patch, climbed in a hay maze, slid down a bumpy slide, looked at
and petted animals, saw a pig show, rode a real school bus, and ate
ice cream. Wow, what a fast and exciting trip!
Many thanks to our families for your generous donations for our
Fall Harvest Party on October 30th!
The holidays are approaching fast. We wish everyone a safe
and joyous holiday season and happy and prosperous New Year.
