Hello-  My name is Brent Busby.  I have been teaching Special Education classes at Shorecrest High School for 17 years.  I have mostly worked with students who have developmental disabilities and Autism.  I graduated from Mead High School (Spokane) and then completed a B.A. degree in Sociology from Whitworth College.  Shortly thereafter, I obtained a teaching certificate from Central Washington.  Over the years, I have enjoyed working with clubs and sports teams at both Kellogg Middle School and Shorecrest.  I have been married for 22 years to my wife Becky.  We have 4 children:  Tate (17), Luke (15), Sitara (14), and Jordan (10).  We are actively involved with our church, Calvary Fellowship, located in Mountlake Terrace.  We enjoy spending time together going to the beach park near our home just north of Firdale Village.
