2007 - 2008 was a good
year.
- MRI's show no new tumor growth. At this time, I will do
quarterly MRI's / check-ups to keep track of any problems.
- The class of 2008 voted me as one of their two honored
teachers.
- Great classes and good students.
- I was able to accomplish nearly all my goals with my various
classes this year. (I was nervous about my ability to do
that.)
- I celebrated my 34th year of teaching!
- My son, Matt, is getting married in November and is very
happy.
- My wife, Carole, and I are getting tack to our mission of
enjoying life each day. Carole is my beautiful angel!
I AM FORTUNATE!
This year, 2008 - 2009---
- I will be teaching .8: Creative Writing, 2 English 9, and
Senior Connections.
- Boys tennis has started and I am excited to be working with
these young men.
- Australia for 2 weeks---Sept. 20 to Oct. 3. I am
excited!
- Matt's wedding in November.
- And a long list of activities will fill the time quickly.
It feels so good to make plans and know that I will be there to
fulfill and enjoy them. There was a moment or two in the past
year that I was afraid I would not be able to do that.
Thank you, everyone, for the help and encouragement you have given
me over the past year. Now
it's time to enjoy another year.
