Welcome! I've been the Shorecrest registrar since 2001.
Before that I was the district Music secretary, and previous to
that I volunteered countless hours at schools in the district,
including four stints as PTA president. I'm a life-long
district resident and graduated from Shoreline High School
(currently the site of the district offices). My two children
graduated from Shorecrest. I'm pleased to be serving the
families in 'my neighborhood'!
Although I have a degree in accounting from the UW, I don't keep
track of money – I account for students and credits.
Student counts are what determine the funding a district receives
from the state, and it is my job to make sure students are
correctly enrolled and withdrawn in our student information
system. As for credits, they start with classes being
properly set up and assigned to students, then grades being
recorded accurately, and finally running appropriate calculations
of total credits, GPAs and class rank. I work with
administrators, teachers, classified staff at Shorecrest and other
schools, district personnel, and students and parents to make sure
the 'numbers' are correct! I also prepare registration
materials, and arrange for the seating of graduates at
Commencement.
I can provide information on/assist with:

I also CANNOT help if you are unable to access your student's
classroom grades through a teacher's website. For this, you
will need to contact the teacher in question. (If you get an
error message saying you have used an invalid last name or
password, this likely means there is nothing yet on the site for
your student, or the teacher has entered your student's password
incorrectly...either way, I can't help you; you must contact the
teacher.)
