SC Hip Hop takes
the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE
Shorecrest competed at the WIAA Dance/Drill Championships in Yakima
in March 2009 and took 1st place in the hip hop category and
receiving a SUPERIOR Rating. The team also won its 5th straight
District Title that same month.

January: Jan 11-12th
Last year the dance
team hosted a dance concert showcasing some of the best dance
companies in the Northwest. Featuring styles from Salsa, Hip Hop,
Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Flamenco, and Breakdancing. This year's show
will be even better. So keep checking back for more details!!!
SC Hip Hop Dances to 3rd Place at
Nationals
The team flew to Orlando, Florida for
the 2007 Contest of Champions Dance/Drill Nationals to represent
the City of Shoreline and Shorecrest. Competiting against 30 teams
from around the nation, they placed 3rd place in hip hop. Just a
few points shy of 1st and 2nd place.
Academic Champions AGAIN!!!
Last season the Shorecrest Dance Team was award the Academic
Excellence Award for a second straight time for having the highest
GPA in all the 3A Dance/Drill Teams.

Title
Hip Hop dance team won the title
during the district championships in March 2007.
2006 WIAA State
Dance/Drill Champions!!!
The dance team won its first State Championship in its history at
the Yakima Sundome in March 2006
