Welcome to the website of the Shorecrest High School Band program, home of the Highlanders! This site is intended to be a communication tool for band students and parents. Please bookmark this page and check back regularly throughout the year for information regarding the SC bands. Typically, the site will be updated at the beginning of each month.

Other sources of communication are the "Shorecrest Music Program" page on Facebook and the REMIND text service (details below about registering for the free text service).

The performance calendar for the 2017-18 school year is posted under the "Announcements" tab of this site in a list format. It is each student’s responsibility to be keep track of his/her SC Band commitments. Parents, anything you can do to keep your student organized and on time is appreciated! PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW. Remember, "Early is on time. On time is late. Late is unacceptable."

                                  Wind Ensemble & Symphonic Band will play Fight Song at beginning of assembly then store gear in aerobics room and sit with classes for remainder of assembly.

All video assignments MUST be uploaded to CANVAS.
A sample video has been posted on the documents page of this website as reference. Students that play large instruments such as tuba, bari sax, or percussion can record in a practice room during lunch, Highlander Home, or before/after school. Any student is also welcome to play the assignment for me live (instead of on video) during those times.
