  school year, I am 
  teaching Geometry
  during periods  
  4 & 6.  I am also
  teaching Algebra 2
  during periods 1, 2 & 5.

   I earned my B.S degree 
  in Mathematics from
  Minnesota State
  University in Mankato,
  MN.  I taught for 9 years
  in various cities
  including: Davenport,
  Iowa; Chicago, Illinois;
  and St. Paul, Minnesota. 
  I moved to Seattle, WA
  and obtained my M.A.
  degree in Counseling
  from Western Seminary. 

  I started teaching at
 Shorewood H.S. in 2003, and I have so enjoyed teaching math to my students.   I have taught  every level of math at Shorewood up through Pre-Calculus (no AP courses, yet).  I also earned my National Board Teaching Certification at Shorewood in November of 2007.

I enjoy living in Seattle.  The beautiful mountains are amazing to me as well as the mild temperatures.  I never dreamed I could go running in the winter without having to worry about slipping on the icy sidewalks.

I am excited for this new school year!  I want my students to learn and to enjoy math this year.  Please do not hesitate to contact me.
