Welcome Parents and Students
Whew! I made it through my first year at SWHS last year and
am excited (and much more organized) as I begin my second
year 2008-2009!
I plan to keep this site updated with current syllabi and
curriculum documents for Culinary Arts, Foods and Cuisines &
Cultures. The site will also include catering and Guest Chef
Dinner information. Please consider attending one of our
Guest Chef Dinners this year reserving your space early as all
seven dinners sold out more than two months in advance last
year! Our first dinner will be Thursday, October 2nd with
Chef Brock Johnson of Lola, a Tom Douglas Restaurant. Brock
is also a graduate of SW. For reservations call (206)
361-4399.
To access grades; click on "Links" and from there you may connect
to the Family Access site. You may also log in directly by
going to: family.shoreline.wa-k12.net (no http or
www). You will need to use your Family Access Login and
Password information as your student's internal I.D. number will
not work through the Family Access site. Current
syllabi for all my classes can be found through the "Document"
link.
Please feel free to e-mail or telephone me with any comments,
questions or concerns.

help them survive and share the planet. They need to learn
how to communicate with other people around the table - that is
essential. We begin at the beginning and we start feeding
