Welcome Parents and Students

I Things are running a little smoother as I begin my third year teaching Culinary Arts and Foods Classes at Shorewood this 2009-2010 school year.

I plan to keep this site updated with current syllabi and curriculum documents for Culinary Arts, Foods and Cuisines & Cultures.  The site will also include catering and Guest Chef Dinner information. Our first Guest Chef Dinner has come and gone and was hugely successfull!  Please consider attending one of our Guest Chef Dinners this year reserving your space early as  most dinners do sell out quickly. We have a terrific line up of Guest Chefs; bringing back a few of the favorites and loyal and also have some new fresh talent.  A complete list of this year's Chef Dinners can be found by clicking on the Documents link.  For reservations please call Elspeth at (206) 361-4399 or email elspeth.payton@shorelineschools.org

To access grades click on "Links", then "Grades" and then input your Family Access login information.

Please feel free to e-mail or telephone me with any comments, questions or concerns.

"Children need to learn a set of values that help them survive and share the planet.  They need to learn how to communicate with other people around the table - that is essential.  We begin at the beginning and we start feeding them real food."
