Mr. Hunter Bio:

Mr. Hunter attended The University of Washington and received his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science in 2000.  In 2002 Mr. Hunter graduated from the Master's in Teaching graduate program at the UW and began his first year of teaching in the Shoreline School District.  After teaching 7th and 8th grade for three years at Kellogg Middle School, Mr. Hunter made the cross-district journey and joined the staff at Shorewood High School.  At Shorewood he has taught AVID, Social Psychology, Hollywood and History,  SIOP, EMS, and World Studies in the Social Studies department.  Mr. Hunter is also involved in programs outside of the classroom including LINK and coaching Shorewood Swim & Dive.  He completed his National Board Certification in teaching in 2009.  With his time off Mr. Hunter enjoys the outdoors, playing sports, and traveling to new places and experiencing new cultures.
