Welcome to Mrs. Lewis' Webpage!
Mrs. Lewis grew up in Bremerton, Washington, where she attended Olympic High School and was an active member of the Swim and Dive team, the Debate team, and Drama. Her favorite subject was, of course, English. After high school, she attended the University of Washington, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Anthropology. For a number of years, she worked as an instructor and tutor in SAT and ACT test preparation and volunteered with the Seattle school district's summer programs. Realizing that she wanted a high school classroom of her very own, Mrs. Lewis went back to school to get her Master's degree in Teaching from Seattle University. She did her student teaching at Shorewood High School, and she enjoyed the experience so much that she decided to stay! When she is not teaching, Mrs. Lewis enjoys reading, cooking and baking, drawing and painting, exploring the outdoors, and building furniture. She and her husband live in North Seattle.
Information about Mrs. Lewis' courses, including a calendar of assignments and a syllabus, may be accessed on the Canvas site for each course:
