I've been a state certified educator for Shoreline Schools since 1998. It's a great pleasure to teach my expertise of visual art with young learners of this community. In addition to Shoreline, I've taught in Colorado, Seattle, Mercer Island and The Northwest School. I've been a professional educator since 1995.
My formal education occurred at The University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I majored in both studio art (BFA) and arts education. My informal education occurred in the great museums of NYC and Washington D.C. where I lived during adolescence and college summers.
In addition to teaching I am an active studio artist. In addition to working with clay, I also produce and display flat and sculptural artwork made from trash.
