"Compassion is our deepest nature.  It arises from our interconnection with all things."
~Jack Kornfield~

As a graduate from Western Washington University with a Special Education, and Elementary Education degree, I thought for sure I would be teaching little kiddos.  When the opportunity to teach at Shorewood came up in 2005, I trusted my friends and took the high school plunge. I think it was the best career decision I could have made.  I love coming to school every day, and feel privileged to be apart of this community.
I completed my Master's degree in Reading and Literacy from Walden University in August 2006.  I earned my National Board Certification in Early Childhood through Young Adulthood/Exceptional Needs Specialist in 2012.
I was surprized and honored to be inducted in the WSBPA Coaches Hall of Fame in 2015!

I love football and I greatly enjoy attending the Shorewood games, Seahawks and watching my godson play for the Snohomish County Vikings!   GO Hawks!
