GO TEAM PRONTO!

4/2009

The FRC (FIRST Robotics Competitions) event  at the  Key Arena was a success for Team Pronto.  Team Pronto is the new robotics club based at Shorewood High School. Being a rookie team competing at our first event we had high hopes and many concerns.  We were in a field of 64 teams some had traveled from as far away as Turkey.

Teams competed all day Friday and Saturday morning until teams are ranked from 1 to 64.  All teams compete in 7 rounds with alliances made up of three teams on each. Team Pronto did great as not only a rookie team but also competed toe to toe with all the teams.

Team Pronto
was undefeated never losing a single round until being eliminated in the finals.

In the end Team Pronto would like to thank the many people at Shorewood High School and its many employees that have help us out. Helping with everything from heat in the shop to putting up with students who could talk of nothing else but robotics for these past 3 months.

Thanks again from TEAM PRONTO and its Advisor, CTE Instructor Wes
Proudlove.
