14.
I
grew up in the Shoreline School District. In fact, many (or
most) of the schools that I attended have been closed throughout
the years. My elementary years were spent at Lake Forest Park
Elem. and at Cromwell Park Elem. (now closed). Cordell Hull
Jr. High and Shoreline High School were the secondary schools that
I went to. Both of these are closed. Is there a
trend?
I
went on to get my degree from Seattle Pacific. (Thankfully it
hasn’t closed.) Since that time, my teaching experience
has been here in the district with time spent as a music specialist
and in the classroom. I love being in the classroom where I
get to be with a group of children whom I get to know and watch as
we grow together. My family consists of my husband and our son who
will be a sophomore at the UW this fall.

In the time away from school, my family and I
enjoy pursuing our musical activities –both participating and
attending, attending Mariners games, being outdoors in the garden
or walking, traveling, reading, and spending time with our extended
family.
