Today students finished their try out and conference session and should be coming home today with the type of instrument they would like to play. The first day with instruments for band will be Wednesday 9/30 and orchestra will need to bring their instruments Friday 10/2. Students brought home a packet describing the supplies needed for Instrumental. The band and orchestra teachers are offering a “First Lesson Night” 7-8:30 pm 9/29 at Shoreline Center. This IS NOT mandatory and is meant to kick off the Instrumental season by giving kids a chance to learn a few things before they have their first in school lesson. If you choose to go to this first lesson you will need to make sure students bring their instruments. September 29- Room parent orientation. 3:15 in the cafeteria. October 2-Walk-A-Thon 1:45pm. October 9-Non-student work day October 14-16: Early release at 11:50. for conferences. |
