Hello families and friends of Room 8!
Welcome to the 2009-2010 school
year! This year, we will be working hard in Room 8, which is
the primary BRITE classroom. So far, the year is off to a
great start!
My name is Melissa Kleinholz and I
am the special education teacher. Patti Sundquist is the
behavior tech in the classroom. The BRITE program team also
includes Rachel Barrett, our BRITE program therapist, and Kye Hong,
the BRITE team lead.
Together, we work to help students learn
and grow in many ways. We work on teaching students about
emotions and social skills, as well as helping them to access the
standard K-3 academic curriculum.
I look forward to working with the
students of Room 8 and their families. Please contact me, or

busy nature of our classroom, however, you may be prompted to leave
a voicemail, which we will return as soon as we are able.
Additionally, we always welcome notes from families, which can be
sent to school with your child's daily points sheet.
